Domain Registry of America renewal letters

Some of our customers have reported receiving letters from the following companies:

• Domain Registry Of America
• EU Registry Services
• Domain Registry Services

These letters appear to be domain renewal notices, but on closer inspection are actually offers to transfer your domain name to another registrar. If you take up the offer, you will lose any free services that we currently provide with your domain name. You will also pay higher renewal fees than we currently charge.

Other letters state that the domain name will stop working if you do not pay them. This is not true, as only your current registrar can process a renewal

If your domain is currently registered though us, we will send you renewal notices via post or email which will be clearly marked as having come from us.

Gravity Internet is an ethical business and does not resort to this type of tactic to gain new business. We would ask all customers to think carefully before responding to these offers.
